The global pandemic hit our brave farmers in the Yucatan. Two of our senior members from the Apatun Farming Cooperative, Hector Canto, a 64 year-old Grandfather, and Don Aureliano, 78 years-old, passed away as a result of the deadly virus. The community continues to support their families, but it has been a tough year. Our Yucatan coordinator Yigal notes that the families send hugs and a big thank you for all of your support.
